This qualifies as "quick, cheap and easy" - good for party snacks or as a part of your well-balanced dinner. Or imbalanced, however you like it. Hubby-head could scarf these down all day.
1 lb. ground beef
1 bottle barbeque sauce (about 1-1/2 cups worth if you buy huuuuge bottles)
2 cans refrigerated biscuit dough
2 cups shredded cheese - cheddar, mozzarella, or your favorite blend
Yes, that's all! Told you this was cheap and easy!
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. At this point, I can just hear the Hubby-head... "How do you heat the oven before you heat it? I don't get it."
Brown ground beef in a large skillet and drain off excess grease. Add barbeque sauce and lower heat to simmer. Spray two muffin tins with non-stick cooking spray. There will be 20 biscuits, so spray enough for 20!
Flatten individual biscuits (you can use a rolling pin or just smash them with the palms of your hands) and place one in each muffin cup. Since you've sprayed the muffin tins with non-stick spray, the biscuit dough will not stay up on the sides of the tin - this is not a problem, just as long as there is a little bit of biscuit dough sticking up to form a small cup.
Spoon ground beef and sauce mixture into each cup. Start with about a tablespoon in each. If you have meat and sauce left over, go back and divide it up as evenly as you can. Don't worry if you overflow the biscuit part - the biscuits will puff up around the edges.
Bake at 375 degrees for about 12 - 14 minutes until the biscuit crust is golden brown. Top with shredded cheese.
My mom also makes a version of this recipe with one can of biscuits flattened in the bottom of a 9x13 pan - Hubby-head really likes the individual cups, though, and this version is great for finger food.

Every time I read this, I get hungry. Think I know what I'm fixing on Monday while I'm home!!
Keep these up!

That would be pre(pare by) heat(ing in advance), OK? There are very few projects which start in a cold oven. Now that we've taken to using a defrosted bought pizza as the crust for home made pizza, we even pre(pare by) heat(ing in advance) the pizza stone.
