If I Could Be...
Ogre here has created a new meme (not that I needed another one) and has been tracking its progress throughout the blogosphere as sort of an unassigned research project... Fascinating stuff, really. Anywho, Jeremy from American Warmonger (go see his spanky new Mu.Nu digs) has tagged me, and so I must play!
If I could be a musician... I'd get better at the keyboard, and maybe actually put some effort into learning the guitar. Then I'd get a band together and record the songs that I've written. Perhaps this one isn't such a pipe dream...
If I could be a chef... I'd make my wildly popular alcoholic cakes and get paid for it. Sounds like a good deal to me!
If I could be an architect... I'd design my dream house first. Then I'd concentrate on designing homes for people who can't afford anything huge, but want a unique home that's reasonably priced. Yeah, that's the ticket.
If I could be an athlete... I'd play baseball. I love baseball. Plus, unless you're a pitcher, the chances for a career-ending injury are relatively small and longevity is pretty darn good.
If I could be an innkeeper... I'd have a fabulous, cozy romantic restaurant at the inn, which would of course serve my wildly popular alcoholic cakes. And other great food - it would develop a stellar reputation and I'd have to take reservations for weeks in advance. Of course I'd hire my brother to play the grand piano in the dining room to set the mood. Hmm. Probably a lot of work. Maybe I should just stay at a great little cozy inn with a fabulous restaurant instead.
How this works: Immediately following there is a list of a bunch of different occupations. You must select at least 5 of them (feel free to select more). You may add more if you like to your list before you pass it on (after you select 5 of the items as it was passed to you). Each one begins with "If I could be..." Of the 5 you selected, you are to finish each phrase with what you would do as a member of that profession.
Once you're done you get to tag three people you think will actually respond - and would have a good answer. Oh, and by all means, don't forget to trackback to this post... and to Ogre's original post so he can keep tracking the progress of his little creation.

OK, sound fun?

Yay! You're back!
I'll be the first to take one of those tasty acloholic cakes if you don't mind too much.

BTW, did you become the new boss or did some fool that doesn't know what he/she is doing take his place?

I'd love to taste those cakes (although you know me and alcohol - I would probably get silly even after baking!!) and I would be the first to stay at your inn. Actually, you chose all three things that I would have.
I would love to cook at your inn!! I'm actually famous back here for my Cinnamon French Toast Souffle! I've even perfected it more since you were here last! I'm glad you're back! I've missed your writings! Hope everything is going great! How's being back at the old digs? Interesting, I bet!
