King of the Blogs Tournament: Week 13 Judging

All hail King George of GM's Corner, last week's victor in a competitive tournament round between three worthy blogs. But as usual, the King cannot rest on his laurels and enjoy his reign for long without two more pretenders to the throne cropping up to give challenge. And now, we commence with the rulings, because I say so.

King of the Blogs Tournament: Week 12 Judging

All hail King Jeremy, who has earned his place in the Hall of Kings and steps aside this week to allow three pretenders to compete for his throne. Former King Warren of View from the Pew is one of this week's competitors, but he's got some stiff competition - let's see how this week's rulings shake out, shall we? *gets out ruler* Err...

King Jeremy of American Warmonger put forth some effort this week and redeemed himself from the lack of sucking up (and lack of mentioning my blogiversary)... King of the Blogs Tournament: Week 10 Judging

The Queen is cranky this week.  Oh, yes, pretenders to the throne, you would do well to tremble at that thought.  You see, the lot of you - even the King, such as he is - have failed miserably at sucking up to the judges.  At least this judge.  Oh, sure, Jeremy managed to leave a comment or two on my blog... but I see no obsequious flattery, no trackbacks or daily link roundups (a la King Jon of Personal Trainer), and most of all, NOT ONE OF YOU RECOGNIZED ME ON MY BLOGIVERSARY.  Off with ALL of your heads.  And now, if you are sufficiently chastised, on with the rulings.  You have been warned.

King of the Blogs Tournament: Week 9 Judging

Well, the Radical Centrist retained his crown last week and has now been retired to the Hall of Kings, wherever that may be, never to be seen again. *ahem*

This week we have two pretenders vying to succeed him on the throne of Blogdom... so with no further delay, the Queen's rulings!

King of the Blogs Tournament: Week 8 Judging

King Bird (*snicker* - still sounds funny to me) retained his throne last week - but can he hold the crown for a third week, ensuring himself a spot in the Hall of Kings? His chances are better this week as he has only one pretender to defeat. Let the judging begin!

King of the Blogs Tournament: Week 7 Judging

Our first order of business... All Hail the King: Bird, of The Radical Centrist!  (King Bird sounds kinda funny, I get a mental image of Big Bird wearing a paper crown like Burger King used to give out.)

The crowned one was apparently rather surprised at winning the tournament last week, so we shall see if the shock wore off in time for him to defend his crown against this week's pretenders.  On with the judging!

King of the Blogs Tournament: Week 6 Judging

For the last time, all hail King Jon of Personal Trainer - the first of the KotB contestants to retain his crown for three weeks and be retired to the Hall of Kings.  Or Elba, or wherever Nick's sticking him.

This week we have three brand new contenders vying for the throne.  For some reason, I feel like I'm Carolyn on The Apprentice getting ready for a boardroom smackdown.  Wouldn't that be fun?  Hmm... 

But now, on to the rulings.

It's that time again!  King Jon the Brownnoser - I mean, the Benevolent - has reigned over the blogosphere for two weeks straight.  Will he remain unscathed by this week's pretenders to the throne?  Will his loyal minions overwhelm the opposition in trackbacks and poll voting yet again?  Or will there be a coup?
