Freely Associating Left and Right...

(Less late this week... it's Unconscious Mutterings for 7/11/04)

Free associate with me, will you?  When I say... you think... ?

1. Crippling::disease.  Such as polio or MS or arthritis.  The word "crippling" just seems to go with the word "disease", unfortunately.  :P
2. Tough::cookies.  (I was unaware that there was a very short-lived TV show by that name.  Who knew?)
3. Slinky::nightgown.  Like many of the items I received for my bridal shower.  *wink*
4. Slogan::Heh.  For some reason the first thing that popped into my head was "Up with people!"
5. Stuffed::Shirt.  Followed by chicken.  Followed by parrot... which makes me think of this.
6. Instructions::The first thing that came to mind was taking the SAT.
7. Expletive::Deleted.  This makes me also think of my favorite Hemingway quote, from For Whom the Bell Tolls.  "Go thou to the unprintable and unprint thyself."
8. Cartoon::Network, which brings to mind Dexter's Laboratory, which is one of the few things I can stand to watch on CN except for old school Warner Brothers.
9. Toddler::This makes me think of the night I had to watch NINE CHILDREN by myself in the church nursery.  Three of them were infants.  Guess what the other six were?
10. Insinuation::What are you trying to get at?
