Another easy and yummy appetizer!
1 8 oz. can crescent rolls
Deli-sliced ham (about 20 shaved slices, fewer if you use thicker slices)
Mustard (about 8 teaspoons)
1 cup shredded Swiss cheese (can also use cheddar if you prefer)
2 Tablespoons sesame seeds
Check it out: photos!
Heat oven to 375 degrees F. Unroll dough into 4 long rectangles:
Firmly press perforations to seal. Place sliced ham on each rectangle to cover the crescent roll dough, with some thickness. I used thinly shaved ham, so I ended up using 5 slices per rectangle:
Spread ham slices with mustard (about 2 teaspoons per rectangle). Try honey mustard or spicy mustard for an interesting twist.
Sprinkle shredded cheese over top:
Starting with the shortest side, roll up each rectangle and press edges to seal:
Coat rolls with sesame seeds:
Cut each of the four rolls into 5 slices - you will have 20 slices total. Place slices on an ungreased cookie sheet:
Bake for 15 - 20 minutes until golden brown. Immediately remove from cookie sheet & serve warm!
To make ahead of time, prepare, cover and refrigerate up to 2 hours before baking. To reheat baked ham snacks, wrap in foil and heat at 375 degrees for 5 to 10 minutes.
