Let's not forget that in Matthew 28:19-20, Jesus commanded us to teach and make disciples - thus the words of the Gospel are indeed important in Christianity. Art is nice, but let's not forget art is subjective to the artist's interpretation and not necessarily God's meaning. Preaching the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ is not open for interpretation. That is what is important to Christianity past, present, and future. By the way, , the Word became flesh and dwelt among us not to replace "words for art" but to be the final blood sacrifce, once and for all, to reconcile us unto God. Praise God for the Word!
